Position Overview

The Corporate Recruiter is responsible for the onboarding of corporate applicants to include: creating and posting job positions, applicant recruiting, hosting interviews & screenings, tracking, conducting background checks, reference checks, employment verifications, new hire orientation, and new hire onboarding and paperwork.

Job Location

  • Our corporate office located in Milford, Iowa - just miles away from beautiful Lake Okoboji


  • Monday-Friday 8am-5pm, occasional but very limited evenings & weekends

  • This is a full-time, 40 hours per week position

Position Responsibilities

  • Develop and publish open job positions to appropriate job boards

  • Recruit and screen applicants based on experience and qualifications

  • Input corporate job applicant and new hire information into HR database and systems

  • Conduct pre-employment applicant screening assessments and preliminary phone interviews

  • Coordinate and participate in on-site interviews with appropriate leaders

  • Develop interview questionnaire templates based on appropriate position duties

  • Obtain and measure EEOC and Affirmative Action data as required

  • Represent the corporation at career fairs, school career days, and other similar recruiting events

  • Assist in onboarding new employees and orientation

  • Collect and process appropriate onboarding paperwork

  • Assist in conducting exit interviews

  • Other duties as assigned


  • Computer experience and skills with, but not limited to, Microsoft Office to include Excel and internet

  • Excellent verbal and written communication and organizational skills

  • High level of customer service skills

  • Ability to work well with all levels of management

  • Confidentiality is required

  • Previous recruiting experience preferred

  • Associate degree preferred
