The role of the Data Analyst is to organize and simplify numeric information. This position develops, maintains, and disseminates data and reports throughout the organization as needed per department and executive request.


  • This position can be worked at our corporate office in Milford, Iowa or can be offered as a work from home opportunity for qualified candidates within a 4-hour radius of our office.


  • As a Data Analyst, you can expect to work Monday-Friday 8am-5pm.


  • Medical insurance: premium as low as $9.87 per week, Basic Life Insurance: $50,000, 401k: up to 4% employer match, bonuses/incentives: numerous opportunities

A day in the life:

  • Process confidential data and information according to guidelines, while maintaining the trust and confidence of the company and leadership.

  • Retrieve and reconcile from various sources to ensure data integrity and accurate reporting.

  • Implement and support initiatives for data integrity and normalization companywide.

  • Perform periodic review of system(s) data sets and work with others to improve the information for better reporting purposes.

  • Create and manage daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports as requested for departmental and executive need.

  • Develop reports, ensure the quality and accuracy of data, analyze, and interpret data, identify trends or patterns in data sets, present analysis in a way that creates meaningful information for end user.

  • Utilize reporting tools to create dashboards, graphs, and other visuals for converting data into meaningful and easily accessible information for better business decisions.

  • Work with management to prioritize business and information reporting needs.

  • Work in conjunction with FP&As on projects of various sizes and priorities; provide support for smooth implementation of various projects and initiatives.

Here's what you need to be successful in this role:

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.

  • Knowledge of statistics and experience using statistical packages for analyzing datasets (Excel, SPSS, SAS etc).

  • Ability to work under minimal supervision, follow general guidance and adhere to prescribed business process.

  • Communication skills: Comfortable interacting with diverse functional groups, including technical staff, senior management and third parties. Communicate clearly at all levels of the organization, both in writing and verbally. Experience speaking to audiences and experience interacting with business leaders.

  • Utilize project management system to provide estimated project timelines and prioritize projects based on priority, time dedication, department, and deadlines.

  • Ability to manage multiple projects and action items concurrently.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite; PowerPoint, Word, Visio, Excel
