CMS Targeted COVID-19 Training FAQs
This Targeted COVID-19 Training for Frontline Nursing Home Staff is intended to provide clinical staff members with best practices for containing and preventing the spread of COVID-19 in nursing homes. The training will aid you in prioritizing resident and staff health during the COVID-19 pandemic.
To begin the course, you will need to register here.(https://qsep.cms.gov/ProvidersAndOthers/signupstep1.aspx)

SNF/NF - Skilled Nursing Facilities/Nursing Facilities
You can bypass this and instead only fill in the Facility Name, Facility Zip Code, and the Facility State information.
Once you confirm your account, you will follow a link to the Training Catalog.(https://qsep.cms.gov/ProvidersAndOthers/registeredtraining.aspx) Scroll down until you see CMS Targeted COVID-19 Training for Frontline Nursing Home Staff, and then click "launch."
This is a self-paced training, however it is estimated that the course will take 3 hours.
The course includes a mandatory pretest, five learning modules, a mandatory posttest, and a CMS-approved training evaluation.
To pass the course, you must score a minimum of 80 percent on the training posttest.
Once you have completed and passed the course, please take a photo of your Certificate of Completion and email it to processing@grapetree.com (mailto:processing@grapetree.com?subject=CMS Targeted COVID-19 Training - Certificate of Completion)to ensure it's added to your GrapeTree file.
