Here are the details:

Our Staffing Specialists are truly the heart and soul of our company. The Staffing Specialist is responsible for the coordination of schedules, management and retention of healthcare professionals. The Staffing Specialist acts as the healthcare professionals (HCPs) point of contact to ensure proper scheduling, credentialing, and time entry management support. If you have a passion for providing amazing customer service while frequently socializing between phone calls, text messages, and emails, this may be your dream match.


Our corporate office is located in Milford, Iowa. We work and live where others vacation! We offer the option to work full-time onsite or hybrid. 

  • Onsite: Team members can choose to work full-time onsite at our corporate office. 

  • Hybrid: Our hybrid option allows team members to work 3 days at home and 2 days in the office each week. Thursdays are considered to be a universal onsite day for all employees within a 40-mile radius of headquarters. 


  • As a Staffing Specialist, you can expect to work Friday-Monday, 6am-5pm CST.


  • This hourly position starts at $17.00 per hour + shift differential for Saturday & Sunday shifts. Wages are received weekly, with the option to earn it sooner with Instant Pay!


  • Medical Insurance: premium as low as $10.07 per week, Basic Life Insurance: $50,000, 401k: up to 4% employer match, and bonuses/incentives: numerous opportunities = estimated total compensation package of $22.75 per hour.

A day in the life:

  • Operate as the point of contact for assigned HCPs.

  • Coordinate initial welcome call and continued follow up with newly hired HCPs to foster engagement and retention.

  • Create positive relationships with HCPs to build GrapeTree reputation as Agency of Choice.

  • Build intentional and purposeful relationships with HCPs to create trust and retention

  • Train and support HCPs with credential and schedule management, including self-scheduling and time entry management, through Workforce Portal.

  • Initiate contact with HCPs to update calendar and recommend shifts by using all forms of communication (Text, Email, Phone).

  • Recruit HCPs to meet facility per diem and long-term assignment needs by using creative and effective techniques.

  • Mentor HCP through issues/complaints and document following formal complaint process.

Here's what you need to be successful in this role:

  • A high school diploma (or equivalent)

  • A high level of confidentiality

  • To be detail-orientated

  • Organization, computer, and communication skills

  • Ability to type at least 30 WPM

  • The ability to be in 100% attendance during the entire 4-week new hire orientation and training

  • Home internet capabilities must be minimum of 25mb download & 5mb upload
