ABOUT ME:
I'm Katie Kirkeby, a passionate nurse recruiter with a hunger to achieve great things. I'm married to my best friend, Gary, and together we have two incredible kids. Life for us is about faith, family, and our hobby farm - I just adore being able to be surrounded by animals and plants! Even though life can get chaotic at times, I love the simple joy life brings on a daily basis.
MY FAVORITE SNACK:
My favorite snack is mixing Brookside blueberry chocolate bites with pistachios. It's the perfect blend of sweet and salty with a crunch that makes it the very best snack in my mind!
THE TOP ITEM ON MY BUCKET LIST:
The top "crazy farm lady" item on my bucket list is to hatch an emu but I don't have a pen to keep one yet.
The next closest item on my list would be to travel and tour Jerusalem!
MY FAVORITE PLACE TO TRAVEL:
My favorite place to travel would be the upper peninsula of Michigan. I really love the beautiful landscape there as well all the awesome beaches along the lake.
WHEN I'M HAPPIEST:
I am happiest each day when I think about the three things I am grateful for.
IF I WON THE LOTTERY...
If I won the lottery tomorrow, I would start designing buildings to have on my hobby farm for more animals! :) Especially a HUGE greenhouse!
